SETTINGS

• Name - Name of the product. This will used as the Permalink, if you're using SES URLs, and as your page title unless you fill in the Title field at the bottom.
• Display - Turn this off and the product won't appear in categories or searches and will throw a 'page not found' error is you go to it directly.
• New - You will see a 'NEW' icon on the listing.
• Sale - You will see a 'SALE' icon on the listing.
• Priority - Orders the products on the category page. 0 is highest.
• Template - Choose the content that appears on this category.
• Special Contect - If you choose one of these - Sale, New, Hot - it overrides the category products and shows you the special content regarless of the category. So if you set this category to 'Sale', it will show all the Sale products on the entire website. 
• Custom Include - Allows you to include custom code on this page. Add the path to the file starting in the root directory.
  EX: email/custom_email.cfm.
• Custom Columns: How many columns of subcats do you want? How many columns of content do you want?
• Custom Palette: Choose the color palette for this page. If blank, it uses the default color pallete.
• Access Key: If you want to restrict access to this page.
• Parameters: These will appear as 'attribute' variables on the page. Used to pass values to the page.
  • Gallery: Add a gallery by including the gallery id - 'gallery=1'
  • Gallery Position: Have the gallery appear above or below the content. 'gallery_position=top|bottom'
     

CATEGORY HEADER

• Display First: Subcats or content
• Long Description Position: Top or bottom
• Large Image Position: Left (default), Right, Top (image on top of main content).

SUB-CATEGORIES

• Show Subcats:
• Category Listing Style: Choose a style that will be used for sub-cats. Overrides Main Settings.
• Left Column Menu Style: Choose a style that will be used for left column menus. Overrides Main Settings.

MENU

• Page URL: Category link will go directly to the URL you enter.
  Enter 'NULL' if you don't want the link clickable. This is usually used for top level categories in the top menu.

This overwrites the default content. Using product_id will override the image/title/text fields. 

• Product ID: If you enter a product_id then the product will appear in the menu.

MAIN CONTENT

• Teaser Image: Small image that appears on another category page for the sub-cat.
• Teaser Text: Short text that appears with the sub-cat listing.
• Main Image: Large image that appears on category page.
• Main Text: Main text for the category.

SEO

• HTML Title: Will be used as the META tag title tag. If blank, then the name field is used.
• Meta Description: Used for the META tag description.
• Keywords: Used for the META tag keywords.
