Solr is a full-text search engine similar to Google - https://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/developing-applications/accessing-and-using-data/solr-search-support/solr-search-service.html. You can use it to get ranked results on your CFWebstore. This is a separate service that has to be run by your hosting company.

Setup

1. Enter the name of your collection. It must be unique on your server. The placeholder text will be your datasource name which is usually a unique name. Save.
2. Now create the collection. Your search criteria is specified under Main Settings. Click 'Create Collection'.
3. Go to Main Settings and change your search type to 'Solr'.

Options

• Reindex - Refresh the collection with new products, pages, etc. Click this after you've added or updated information on your site.
• Optimize - Optimizes the structure and contents, recovers space.
• Delete - Delete the collection.
