Friendly error message

Your customers do not see these error messages. They see a friendly error message that tells them something went wrong. You can edit this page by going to admin > Site Design > Pages and edit x - Site Error.

View the error live

It's a lot easier to troubleshoot if you can see an error live on the website. You can add your IP to Main Settings which by-passes the error routine and lets you see the Coldfusion message. The detail of the error message will depend on your settings.

Common cause for errors

Your website is constantly under attack by hackers. They send mal-formed URLs in the hope of causing error messages that they can use to gather information about your website and server. CFWebstore is protected against SQL injection and other attacks but a URL can still cause an error that looks likes a real customer.
